Conditions of hire

All hired equipment remains the sole property of White Linen.

  • White Linen accepts this booking subject to either ourselves or the customer checking that our covers fit the venue’s furniture. 
  • Should the customer require our full service, White Linen will contact either the customer or their venue, one - two weeks prior to the event to arrange delivery and set up on the hire date as agreed with the customer at the time of booking.  For the 'do it yourself' hire service, White Linen will contact the customer four weeks prior to the event to arrange a delivery and collection date.
  • The hire will be for the period agreed on the contract. The customer is responsible for any loss or damage to the goods from the time of delivery and set up, until they are collected by or received back by White Linen.
  • The customer will pay a non-refundable deposit of £50.00 to guarantee their booking. The customer may cancel this booking 8 weeks before the event and any monies paid will be refunded minus the deposit. For a booking that is cancelled within 8 weeks of the event, no refund will be made.

White Linen will endeavour to remove any stains and repair light damage, but in the event of any permanent stains or damage , or any missing items, the customer will agree to the following charges: 

  • Each chair cover £7.50 
  • Each chair cover sash £2.50
  • Each 10ft table runner £5.00 
  • Each 18ft table runner £10.00
  • Each 16ft top table swag £40.00
  • Each napkin £1.00
  • Each mirror centrepiece/vase £6.00
  • Each tealight holder £0.40

All other decorative items ordered from White Linen will belong to the customer.

The customer agrees to pay the balance no later than 4 weeks prior to the event.

Unless agreed with White Linen or the Venue in advance the customer will be responsible for making sure that all hire equipment will be packed and ready for collection by White Linen following the event. Any costs incurred for collecting, packing or removing items not ready for return will be charged to the customer.
